Bohemian Rhapsody

Bohemina Rhapsody was Queen's most popular song to date. It was released on Halloween 1975. The song was recorded at Roundhouse Studios and was written by the bands own, Freddie Mercury. This song has a good amount of debate behind it, it has been said to have been written in Mercury's flat, but it has also been stated that the majority of the song was formulated in the studio. None the less, Mercury developed this song almost souly in his head and then jotted it down on paper. The song Bohemian Rhopsody is not your typical number 1 hit. It took 3 weeks for the band to complete recording it and it is rumored that Freddie had been dreaming about this song since 1960. The song itself is dark and depressing if you listen closely to the lyrics, "Momma, I just killed a man. I didn't mean to make you cry." Freddie Mercury during the creation of this song was actually going through some very hard personal issues and was expressing the feelings he was having in his head in the lyrics of the song.
