An in-depth look into
1970's and 80's Arena Rock
What
Rock N' Roll has many different subgenres. I am going to take a look into the world of Arena Rock bands and artists. Arena Rock was more stylistic in the sense that songs were written solely for the intent to be played in front of larger audiences. Lights, loudspeakers, and instrumental solos were just some of the Arena Rock characteristics.
Why
The goal of this project is to inform more people of the genre Arena Rock and provide a few song analysis to show what was going on in the 1970s and 80s to influence this type of music and behavior.

About the Process
1. I am going to be taking a close look at a few bands from the Arena Rock era.
2. The way that I picked these bands were by looking at the three most popular ones from the time.
3. The way I gauged popularity was by looking into the most listened to bands on Spotify
4. I will do a song analysis of one song from every band and will provide information about the members and we will look at the meaning behind their song.
